For this photo I worked with three photos to create the image within the frame and then placed it in this museum setting. I then added the small boy pointing at the painting to emulate the sailors in the 'painting' that are pointing at the huge whale. I wanted to emphasis this repetition and also have the crows on top of the painting to look similar to the dark whale within the frame. Once I flattened the image I then added a black and white filter with a brown tint to unify the photographs.
I used a similar idea from my first picture and really liked the idea of framing things that originally wouldn't be. In this case I took some graffiti and sticker and placed them in the frame. I really liked the way that they looked almost purposeful and actually framed. What really made this photo surrealistic was Reed being featured atop one of the frames. For this I added the picture of Reed and using a layer mask seamlessly blended her into the scene. I then adjusted her position and size so that she fit perfectly on the paintings. I intentionally took the photo at this angle so it would appear that she was sitting on the frame due to her angle.
