Project 2 - Colors and Grids

For this project we shot a bunch of different photos in order to take these multiple images and place them in a grid in such a way that they became one, whole photo. We were to required to create four grid edits: cool colors, warm colors, monochrome, and color compliments. Along with these we chose one photo that through out edits created a mood due to the color and editing in the photo. Along with this I included some other grids which did not go necessarily within the four required categories but were a few of the many grids I created and really enjoyed.

Mood Photo - Edit
For me I absolutely love this edit. It was an accidental 'mood' photo choice as I was editing leaves to create a grid and once I cropped and adjust the contrast and color I was super drawn to the image and continued on the edits. To achieve this picture I reduced the exposure, as well as upped the contrast, and adjusted the temperature and tint to get the blue and green colors around the edge of the leaf. These colors create a dark and mysterious mood, I feel as though I am in a tropical jungle late at night when I look a this photo. When I increased the clarity the pop of the line and detail on the photo to me made it appear very professional in the edits and was extremely aesthetically pleasing. In adjusting the exposure and contrast I created the very dark background which contrasted extremely well with the blues and greens of the leaf, assuring it as the focus of the photo.
